What the site is

GlobeProxy provides free tools and articles about IP addresses, leaks and proxies. The tools show information about your connection or about an address or proxy you enter. The tools and guides are informational. They are not professional, legal, security or financial advice, and you should not rely on them as the only basis for an important decision.

Provided as is

The site and its tools are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that results are accurate, complete or current. IP location and network data is approximate and can be wrong. A clean test result does not prove that your connection is private or secure, and a failed one may not show every cause. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and fairly. In particular, you agree not to:

Use the proxy checker to connect to proxies or services you have no right to use, to scan networks, or to probe systems you do not own or have permission to test.
Use any tool to attack, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any person, server or network, including ours.
Use the DNS leak test, IP lookup or other endpoints to run automated bulk queries, to scrape the site, or to build a competing data service.
Try to bypass or interfere with rate limits or other protections.
Enter credentials or data that belong to someone else without their permission.
Use the site to break the law or the rights of others.

We may block access, without notice, for use that we think breaks these rules or harms the site.

Rate limits

Some tools limit how many requests you can make in a period, to keep the site available to everyone. The limits can change at any time and are not published as a guarantee. If you reach a limit, wait and try again. The privacy page describes how these counts are handled.

Third-party content and links

Parts of the site rely on or mention other services, for example public STUN servers used by the WebRTC test and the DB-IP database used for location data. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Examples of well-known providers or products in guides are given for illustration and are not endorsements.

No warranty and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GlobeProxy and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of data, loss of money, loss of privacy, or any indirect or consequential loss. You use the site at your own risk. You are responsible for what you do with the information the tools show you, and for the proxies and services you choose to use or buy.

Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law in your country.

Intellectual property

The site's text, design and code belong to GlobeProxy, except where noted. You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with credit. You may not copy the site's content at scale or present it as your own. IP location data comes from DB-IP under its own licence, described on the privacy page.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. We may also change or remove tools and pages at any time.
