Affiliate disclosure

Where things stand today

As of the date above, GlobeProxy has two affiliate relationships: with Webshare, a proxy provider, and with DeleteMe, a personal data removal service. If you click one of our Webshare or DeleteMe links and buy a plan, that company may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. Webshare and DeleteMe are the only companies we have an affiliate or other commercial relationship with. We do not earn commission, fees or other payments from any other proxy provider, VPN, data removal service or company, and we have no advertising on the site.

The Webshare links are on the datacenter proxies page, in the guide to proxies for web scraping and in our Webshare review, which is research-based and not a test of its network. Each one is labelled "Affiliate link" next to it and carries the sponsored and nofollow link attributes. Clicking one takes you to Webshare's site, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. GlobeProxy itself still sets no cookies. The commission does not affect our test results, our rankings or what the guides say, and having a relationship with Webshare does not mean we have tested its service or that we endorse it over other providers.

The DeleteMe links are in our guide on how to remove your personal information from the internet, each labelled "Affiliate link" and carrying the sponsored and nofollow link attributes. The US link goes to a DeleteMe page that advertises a discount code, and a separate link goes to its international page. We have not tested DeleteMe. What the guide says about it comes from DeleteMe's own website and is described as such. The commission does not change what the guide says, and the guide explains the free way to do the same job first. Other data removal services exist, and we do not earn from them.

The guides and proxy-type pages are written to be educational. They may mention well-known companies as examples. These mentions are not endorsements and are not paid.

Our commitments

We may add more affiliate links in the future, for example in provider comparisons. For the Webshare and DeleteMe links and for any we add, we commit to the following:

• Every affiliate link will be clearly labelled as one where it appears, not only on this page.
• This page will be updated, and its date changed, before or when any new affiliate relationship goes live.
• Commercial relationships will not change how we run tests or what results we report. A provider cannot pay for a better result, and we will publish findings that are unfavourable to a provider that pays us.

Provider comparisons

We have not published any provider comparisons yet. They will be added once we have tested the providers ourselves, and we will describe how each test was done. Until then, our proxy type pages explain how the different kinds of proxy work and what to check before you buy.
